One day I picked up my pen and started to write. Once I got started, I didn’t want to stop.
My original blog Squeaky Green Machine began as a way to document my everyday non-adventures while I tried to make the most of each moment. All of that blogging created a large archive of random content and unexpectedly catapulted me into a new phase of writing. Before I knew it, I was no longer blogging, but I had a fresh collection of essays and a middle-grade fantasy novel titled THE STRANGERS, for which I’m currently seeking representation.
I live in Minneapolis with my husband and our not-so-wild menagerie of four-legged children. In my free time, I’m reading, knitting, cooking, playing outside, or dreaming up schemes that always end up bigger than I anticipated.
