Lunch at Broders’ Deli

L

A snowy winter afternoon can be transformed by a leisurely lunch, especially when it is at Broders’ Deli, the Cucina Italiana.

The neighborhood deli in Minneapolis features fresh pasta, sauces, baked goods, Italian groceries and pastries, deli items  and so much more – all of the food is available for carryout. The Husband and I ate our lunch in their small dining area and enjoyed every bite.

Cream sauces are The Husband’s favorite, so they recommended that he build his own pasta. He loved their fettucini noodles with alfredo sauce served with roasted chicken:

I ordered off the menu and tried the Vegetarian Stromboli – rolled pizza dough stuffed with potato, tomato, spinach, artichokes and gorgonzola cheese with sauce for dipping:

We couldn’t decide on a dessert to share, so we got two! Both were delicious, but each liked our own best.
