3 Tiers is Top Tier

I know that I have already talked about 3 Tiers Bakery & Bistro, but it’s so good I can’t stop gushing. Located in a bustling corner of South Minneapolis, you feel like you’re having a leisurely dinner in a European cafe. (Or, what I imagine it must be like to have a leisurely dinner in a European cafe.)

These vegetarian spring rolls just might be the best in the city. Light and fresh, I think about them all the time:

The Best-Good Friend had the special, Salmon Gravlax on Mung Bean Pancakes served on Bibb Lettuce. She loved the combination of flavors and textures:

They have my favorite sandwich on their menu, The Falafel Burger. So good, my stomach is growling just thinking about it. It comes topped with pickled cabbage and onions, roasted peppers, cucumber, and sriracha mayo (substitute miso mayo to make it vegan):falafel burger

3 Tiers started out as a bakery, so you have it have dessert. The Best-Good Friend loved her Elvis cupcake, banana with peanut butter frosting, topped with crispy bacon. My bar was yummy too, but I wished Elvis was a vegetarian so I could have eaten a banana cupcake with peanut butter frosting. 🙂

UPDATE: It was just announced that 3 Tiers has closed its doors.
